Actually, I should have completely different issues on my plate right now.
Instead, I find myself caught between appointments, construction sites, and decisions that are bigger than the moment.
On Christmas Day and Boxing Day (December 25th & 26th), I had two photoshoots with the wonderful Julia. You may have already seen some of the pictures on Instagram – and they can now also be found on my new website.
I'll link you here I deliberately chose her page, simply because I love her style, her work, and her artistic flair so much. Julia has an incredibly good sense of atmosphere, detail, and authenticity.
More photoshoots with her will take place.
A loaf of bread was present during the photoshoot.

And yes… I know you might be wondering: Why bread? (laughs)
I simply love details and food. And I'll say it like it is: my breads are healthy and delicious, but visually... let's say a solid grade of C. Satisfactory, but nothing to write home about.
My very good friend Vicky, on the other hand, makes really amazing bread.
She bakes every day, as a hobby, out of pure passion – and it shows. This bread was simply art.
If you would like to experience her baking skills, get in touch with her .
I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
We set off early on January 5th.
At 6:30 a.m., in the middle of the snow chaos, I drove to the bus workshop.
The next step was: dry ice blasting – day 1 of 2.
The wonderful Michael Runschke, or rather two of his employees, completely sandblasted the underside of the bus with dry ice. I'll link you here. his website – and I can highly recommend him.
In the next few days or weeks, I will also share an Instagram and TikTok video about it, because the work was simply really good.
Get a taste of radio: Ems-Vechte-Welle
After the stop at the bus, I continued on to Lingen – to the radio station Ems-Vechte-Welle.
There I had the opportunity to experience my first 45-minute radio recording.
A truly exciting feeling!
The conversation resulted in an approximately 5-minute clip, which I'd like to share with you. here I'll also link to it.
Thanks for this cool experience – I'm really looking forward to chatting with you again in future updates.
On Wednesday, January 7th, the bus was then inspected by Dominik ( NeverEverRust ).
Thanks to the dry ice cleaning, the bus is now largely clean underneath – and that's exactly what has revealed what was previously hidden:
Two large load-bearing elements need to be welded in again.
This can (and must) be done by a licensed bodywork specialist.
Sure – it was built in 2009, that's to be expected.
It will be a lot of work and, above all, expensive.
But:
We will not give up.
We'll continue.
Our baby will be finished... with all its ups and downs.
January 8th – New contacts & a new sponsor
Today, Thursday, January 8th, I contacted a truly professional and competent body shop. I initially spoke with a workshop employee and am now waiting – due to the large scope of the project – for a response from the managing director.
I also had another really cool appointment this morning:
Sponsor number 4 has joined! I will of course introduce them to you soon.
Main stage: CMT trade fair Stuttgart
Date: Tuesday, January 20, 2026
Time: I share during the day
Location: CMT trade fair in Stuttgart – the world's largest camping trade fair (Source: Google)
I will be presenting my bus project on stage for approximately 30 minutes. I will be accompanied by a photographer. from the Stuttgart area, and there will also be on-site media coverage.
Just saying that feels huge.
This year starts with:
many appointments
many encounters
many challenges
and a clear, far-sighted approach to everything that is to come.
I am grateful, excited, and ready.
Finally: What do you think of my new website?
My new website went live on January 5th, if I'm not mistaken. I'd love to hear your feedback. And if you like it, please share it!
Thank you for being here and accompanying me.
Best regards
Flo
