Today, Thursday, September 4th, at 9:00 a.m., we were still on the phone with the bank to temporarily suspend our transfer limit for one day. An hour later, the editor from the Buxtehude weekly newspaper was already at our door. And then at 11:00 a.m., the call came: The vehicle – a MAN A39 DD ND 323 EEV – could be handed over today.
What we had originally planned for the beginning of 2027 became reality within 5 days.
And as if that weren't enough, our dear friend Ronja and her son arrived at our place on Thursday night around 1:00 am after a 6-hour car journey – just to spend the first few days with us and actively support us.
Now it's time to:
Register vehicle
Take out insurance
Contact TÜV
Calculate the cost of fixtures down to the kilogram.
Keep an eye on axis distribution
Buy tools
The first newspaper article will appear in 1-2 weeks – and more will follow. The faster the bus is converted, the sooner we can live in it. As soon as the article is published, I will actively approach potential partners and sponsors and also contact radio and TV stations.
Of course there is criticism, opposition, envy, and differing opinions. But that is their truth, their way of thinking, their responsibility.
I have chosen self-determination and freedom.
I do what is necessary to give my children a life full of opportunities.
There are those who talk – and there are those who do.
