What a month!
For us, November 2025 was all about:
"Experience all emotions once"
So much has happened that I absolutely want to write a detailed update for you.
On November 6, 2025, SAT.1 Regional visited us – a huge moment for our vision!

On Friday, November 28, 2025 at 5:30 PM – we were officially broadcast on television (Sat1 Regional)!

Network magic: A phone call that touched me
My mobile phone rang at 7:46 pm.
A man from near Hanover had seen us on TV — and simply wanted to tell me that he was converting a 15-meter-long bus. We talked on the phone for half an hour — and it felt so familiar right away. That made me so happy! Because that's exactly what it's all about: connection, exchange, and support.
This project shows me more every day how valuable contacts are — and how wonderfully this network of people who share the same vision is growing.
An expensive oops on the upper deck…
On Monday, November 17, 2025, Marcel accidentally broke a side window while drilling out rivets on the upper deck.
It can happen – but ouch!
The new windshield cost us €3,766.35 (excluding installation) and was delivered on November 27th.
On Sunday, November 23, 2025, a specialist company came to inspect the broken window and our milky door on the lower deck. On November 26, we removed the door together and took it to the company.
What we love: Teamwork & learning curve!
On Monday, November 24th, Marcel had his preparatory driving lesson... and on Tuesday, November 25th, he passed his practical driving test on the first try! He also had a perfect score on the theory test.
I'm bursting with pride! Surely I can share this?
Yesterday, Saturday, November 29, 2025, Florian, an Instagram follower from nearby, visited us.
He's a mechatronics engineer and bus driver, and he explained and showed us so much. We're incredibly grateful for his time and knowledge! Among other things, we topped up the red coolant and took a close look at our compressor for the first time.

My journey to getting my C driving license is beginning too!
This is what my December looks like:
• 02.12.2025 – ophthalmological report
• 08.12.2025 – general practitioner's report
• First aid course still in December
• Start in January: Driving licence class C
We will both be allowed to drive — and that feels incredibly free!
We have gained two sponsors/partners!
•Remove rust, seal & protect
•Roof cleaning as preparation for adhesive solar panels
Since we have to be careful with our overall height, framed solar panels are not an option.
Adhesive solar panels are our solution for true energy self-sufficiency! We are, of course, aware of the advantages and disadvantages.
