More is happening right now than you can see from the outside.

Even though things have been a bit quieter here in recent weeks, it doesn't feel quiet at all for me – on the contrary, I have the feeling that many puzzle pieces are coming together and things that have been planned for a long time are slowly taking shape.

The quieter phase was not a retreat, but a time in which I sorted myself out, prepared, and consciously invested... in knowledge, in decisions, and in steps that are important for the coming years.

Motorcycle & Tattoo Fair Hamburg

Yesterday, Sunday, March 1st, I was at the motorcycle and tattoo convention in Hamburg, and the day pretty much reflected what's going on in my life right now. I got a new tattoo there – another chapter that's going under my skin, quite literally. And at the same time, I made a decision that feels good: I've decided on my motorcycle. It's going to be a Triumph Speed Twin 900.

Even just sitting on it blew me away in the best possible way. That feeling when you sit on a machine and immediately know it's a perfect fit... not just visually, but in terms of the overall feel. The posture, the seating position, the weight, the overall presence... it wasn't a rational decision anymore, but a clear "this is it." For me, this machine is simply perfect.

In parallel, the "project" is also continuing. The bus has now arrived back at my home, after the last few months turned out differently than planned due to the weather. There were delays, breaks, and changes to the plan. And that's precisely why it feels all the better to be able to continue now.

TV filming continues!

I was particularly pleased about a phone call with Kabel Eins. This morning. We're currently discussing the next filming dates; the plan is for the second weekend in March—either the 14th/15th or alternatively the 21st/22nd, probably Saturday and Sunday. It won't be a one-off story, but rather a longer-term project, almost like a mini-series, documenting step by step what's being created here. And that shows me once again that the quieter weeks were perfectly fine. Things are getting going again now.

As you know, I registered at the Sander driving school on February 9th. I registered and consciously decided to get three driver's licenses at the same time.

So far I have attended the basic theory lessons as well as the A theory lessons, i.e. motorcycle.

Biker buddy found again

During my motorcycle theory lesson, I sat next to another student, and we got along well from the start. After the lesson, we stood outside the driving school together and chatted for a while, and we actually reconnected.

I share glimpses into my life daily on my Instagram story, and from Thursday to Saturday I seriously considered how best to contact him since we hadn't exchanged numbers. So I went to the driving school. I called and asked the nice lady to give him my number. She was a little taken aback... apparently, that's not part of her typical workday or usual tasks (laughs).

That made me even more excited and shows me once again how great the driving school is.

The next day, my driving student messaged me on WhatsApp, and he even came with me to the tattoo and motorcycle expo. I have the feeling that a really good friendship is developing, and we've already decided to ride motorcycles together after I pass my test – my first real biker buddy. For me, that's something special :-) In between, I went to Louis and bought my first set of motorcycle gear, which felt less like a normal shopping trip and more like a real milestone because it made the whole thing tangible. Suddenly you're holding the helmet in your hand and you realize that a wish is slowly becoming reality.

My truck driver theory course starts from March 9th to 13th, followed directly by the course from March 16th to 19th, meaning these days will be entirely dedicated to concentration. Anyone pursuing three driver's licenses simultaneously quickly realizes that this isn't a casual decision, but rather a period of consciously setting priorities.

I knew that this would mean intensive weeks, with lots of theory lessons and even more study time in the evenings and at night, but these driving licenses are an integral part of my 2026 plan.

The application is currently being processed and will take approximately six to eight weeks. Once it's approved, I'll receive a letter from the TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) or the invoice, and from that point on, I should be able to register for the theory test. That would also be the latest (for me) time to start driving lessons. Six weeks would put us in week 12, eight weeks in week 14, which is the first week of April. My goal is clear: I want to have my motorcycle license in hand sometime in April.

Of course, this means full days, structured evenings, and less time for spontaneous get-togethers with friends. But I can clearly feel that everything is moving in a clear direction for me. The bus is back, filming has started again, the motorcycle has been decided upon, my driver's licenses are progressing... and even a new tattoo reminds me that a new chapter is beginning.

Sander Driving School:

If you're thinking about getting your driver's license yourself, or know someone who is, I can highly recommend the Sander driving school . I feel very well taken care of there; the team is relaxed, the fleet of vehicles is modern, and especially when you're getting several licenses at the same time, you realize how valuable good organization is.

The next few weeks will be intense – but they feel exactly right.

If it were easy, everyone would do it. And I'm many things – but not your average Joe.

Very best regards

see you next time
